Grief and It's Relationship to the Objects Left Behind

Object illustrations from my short book, 'To Grandad', about grief and the association of objects to people, especially ones they leave behind.

 

The mediums of the pieces flipped between watercolour and black ink and negative space was used heavily in the book to reflect the 'lack of' sensation I associate with grief.
